    Default Youtube - No Audio via HDMI :(

    Hi,

    when i play youtube vidoes via the boxee app i get no sound...

    box is connected via onkyo 509 reciever (hdmi) but it also doesnīt work if itīs directly connected to the tv (samsung d6500 via hdmi).

    i tried with all dolby options enabled/disabled in the boxee menu. boxee sound settings are enabled and set to full volume.

    playing the same youtube vidoes via ipad and airplay over the boxee box works. latest firmware 1.2.1.20451 is installed.

    any ideas?

    Did you try disable EDID in settings?
    Others have reported that "fix" for the no-audio bug in other threads.

    Disabling EDID did the trick for me.

    Everyone who is having this problem, please vote and comment on this issue on jira http://jira.boxee.tv/browse/BOXEE-11397 , so that we can get a fix earliest possible.

    Looks like the EDID issue may be fixed and implemented in v1.2.2xxx... http://jira.boxee.tv/browse/BOXEE-11397
