Default Problem with Stacking and nfo file ?

OK, I LOVE the stacking feature and will use it quite a bit. I am having a lot of problems with it though and was hoping someone could help. I have spent MANY MANY hours trying all sorts of things and can't get some vids to stack...

Here's an example of one that I can NOT get to work (Living Luminaries)! Any ideas anyone??? I want all these subfolders to be in one movie poster on the boxee box movie wall as a single stack, like my other ones are as you can see in the screenshots on further posts below. For the others that DO work, I have the nfo and folder.jpg files in the Part01 folder ONLY. I tried that with Living Luminaries, but that didn't work, so I put the nfo/folder.jpg in each PartXX subfolder, but that still didn't work. I tried changing the extensions to .mp4 on all of them just to see if the different file type would help, but it didn't. I also changed all filenames to have nothing after PartXX except the .avi or .mp4 extension, but that didn't help either (I tried it once with nfo/jpg in each subfolder and once with nfo/jpg in only Part01). Another thing I tried is putting all the files in the same directory and getting rid of the subdirectories all together (I tried it this way with nothing after PartXX in the file names also). I cleared my media info from the library in advanced settings after each test and every attempt is a no go. I have SEVERAL other examples of where this stacking isn't working for some reason, but it is in other cases (as shown below).

HERE ARE SCREENSHOTS OF THE ONE I CAN'T GET TO WORK (please help) :

Also, FYI... if I just put the Living Luminaries Part1 file in the folder with the nfo/jpg (with NO other parts) it shows up... so the nfo must be fine!

HERE ARE SCREENSHOTS OF ONE THAT STACKS FINE (iso's with nothing after PartX and USING an nfo, which is ONLY placed in the Part1 folder):

Here's the nfo from the one in the previous post (I'm limited to 4 images per post):

HERE ARE SCREENSHOTS OF ONE THAT STACKS FINE (mp4's with different text after PartXX and USING nfo) This one is working great and EXACTLY how I want the Living Luminaries to work! Again, I have SEVERAL other examples of ones that aren't stacking like this one is....:

OH, and I did try this all on the new release from 10/4, as well as the beta before that...

One more thing... the id tt0099999 in my nfo for the Living Luminaries (my problem video/s) is just a "dummy" id. I originally tried all my scenarios with NO id in this nfo, but since all my other ones that DO work can be found on imdb either by boxee straight away (with no nfo) or by my nfo id, I figured I'd try it with just some misc id in the nfo, but that didn't work. This DOES seem to be the one difference in the ones that do stack vs don't stack.... That is, THE ONES THAT CAN'T BE FOUND ON IMDB AND ARE USING AN NFO WILL NOT STACK (it seems).

One more thing I tried was having the year in the files and folders, but that didn't help either... For example:

    Living.Luminaries.(2009).Part02.MainMovie.avi

    or

    Living.Luminaries.(2009).Part02.avi

    or

    Living.Luminaries.(2009).Part2.avi

For stacks to work correctly all the files for the Movie need to be in the same folder.

For example, I have the movie Armored:

    \\192.168.1.193\raid\Boxee\Movies (HD)\Armored\Armored.2009.720p.BluRay.x264-part1.mp4
    \\192.168.1.193\raid\Boxee\Movies (HD)\Armored\Armored.2009.720p.BluRay.x264-part1.nfo
    \\192.168.1.193\raid\Boxee\Movies (HD)\Armored\Armored.2009.720p.BluRay.x264-part1.tbn

    \\192.168.1.193\raid\Boxee\Movies (HD)\Armored\Armored.2009.720p.BluRay.x264-part2.mp4
    \\192.168.1.193\raid\Boxee\Movies (HD)\Armored\Armored.2009.720p.BluRay.x264-part2.nfo
    \\192.168.1.193\raid\Boxee\Movies (HD)\Armored\Armored.2009.720p.BluRay.x264-part2.tbn
Notice all the files are in the same folder.

Also notice that the first part of the video has "-part1" and the second part has "-part2" right before the extension.

Secondly notice each part has a ".nfo" and a ".tbn" file. Both .nfo files and both .tbn files are the same. They are simply copies of each other.

Thirdly, notice in your screenshots how you have more than 1 stack show up. When it is setup correctly you will only see 1 stack (the last part by the way - so if you have say 10 parts then it who only show the stack for part 10).

When done correctly you play that 1 stack and then once the first video (the video that has "-part1" in the name) finishes the second one (the video that has "-part2" in the name) starts to playback automatically.

So for my Movie Armored I only see the 1 stack (shows up as part2) when I select the movie to play. I click play to start the movie. The first part starts to play and when that part is finished part 2 automatically starts.

Which is of course the expected behavior. So you should always see only 1 stack if you do it right.

    Hope that helps?
