Default The 'freeze on exit' issue

Ive just run into this - had not experienced it before.

It coincided with me activating the rTorrent client and starting to download some shows

This issue seems to have been reported numerous times, but in other threads where the info here about rTorrent might not get noticed.

    Same here.
I activated the "Run rTorrent client when boxee starts" and starting to download some shows. Freeze on exit every time.

When I deactivate rTorrent, Boxee exits to ATV as expected.

    ATV version 0.9.7.4825

    Thanks guys.

Does it freeze and have to be manually killed or just take a long time to exit?

I run on Linux and when I exit, it can take up to a couple of minutes before my calling application regains focus. The boxee interface goes away, but takes a while to fully shutdown.

I've waited over a minute and then performed a hard reboot. That said, it usually takes 10 seconds to quit into ATV.

Had the same problem a number of times. Running ATV a few times had to reboot, then the last time waited about 40 secs and it quit out. But it does look frozen.
