    Default Audio Offset

I wonder if anyone knows the rationale behind changing the audio offset to 0.25 second increments ? The old version seemed fine and the chances of audio being out of sync by quarter of a second increments seem unlikely. The audio offset was one of the reasons I opted for a BB and was an oft used feature for me in XBMC on the original xbox.
There is a jira issue for this http://jira.boxee.tv/browse/BOXEE-10757and I have voted, but just wondered why it had changed ?
Hope it doesn't stay this way.

I believe most people can detect sync issues down to about 100ms, so having an adjustment granularity of 250ms is not going to be useful to anyone. In rare circumstances it might work out, but for the most part your adjustments will still be off by a noticeable margin.

It's especially frustrating as this was something that was already working correctly and with a very fine grained adjustment. I don't believe the interface is streamlined significantly enough by fattening up the offset.

    Agree'd...
Recently I've had to manually sync some content...
It would be nice..(and I suspect an EASY, and MINOR change) to give more resolution to the offset setting.

(Ya..ya...I know...fill out a ticket...and 'maybe' somebody will listen. Then it 'mayb'e implemented in 6 months..)

No need to start a new Jira ticket - just access the one listed here in post #1 and vote on it - should only take about a minute to do
