Default 2nd Boxee Box is find 0 files when scanning.

Had my first Boxee Box setup perfect for a while now, all my TV shows and Movies are nicely listed and identified with all the imdb info and artwork. Just bought a 2nd Boxee Box for downstairs entertainment area. I set it up just like my first box, it see's my network fine. I set it to scan a specific media folder, the same one by first box does. However my new box never detects any files after it is done scanning. I can navigate to the folders just fine via "files" and play them from there, but I would much rather have the Box detect and organize my files just like my other Box did. All the settings are the same as the first box except of course a different IP. Help please!

I am also having this issue with the new firmware. The scanner / scraper is not finding anything on my NFS shares / network.

Still works if I enter them manually but that will be no fun.
Before the scrapper worked with at least 80% accuracy.

I booted into recovery mode.. Did a factory restore.
And then it found my movies again.
I am guessing the database got corrupted after the update. So I am fixed.

this is a brand new box weird. I pretty much started from scratch with my network and boxes. reset all network devices, created new homegroup. reshared all the folders to 'everyone' reset both boxes. again old box is fine it scanned my media folder and detected everything fine, new box nope. all settings are identical on both boxes except IP address. this is bugging me. the new box see's the folder fine, i'm able to play media files just fine browsing via 'files' but it just won't scan and organize it like my other box does.

I think you were right. Did the same thing as you, booted into recovery factory restore, reupdated and it's scanning my media folder now. But actually seems like it is detected the files. Thanks.
