    Default 50hz instead of 60hz??

    WTF??

    To begin..I just picked up a second boxee box...call me crazy stupid or otherwise insane...

    I let it update to the latest(notso) greatest FW.

    When it tries to 'match'..I get 50hz rather than 60hz as it does with the other BBox(but the other one is still running 1.0.4.17443 )

    Its set to 1080p (not 1080i 50hz)

    Is this just another wonderful 'feature' with the new firmware?

    The only time I've seen mine output 50Hz is when I play 50Hz content since my scaler supports 50Hz and 60Hz.

    July 3 - I am having a similar problem but it won't let me do anything. It boots normally (720), get the Boxee logo and animation and then it seems to not be able to synch with my projector showing it attempting to do 1080p 50hz even when it has no content asked for. Not sure how to force a reboot or re-file download if I can't even get to the menu ... suggestion? What's going on ... I am totally not able to use my Boxee now.

    July 5, 2012 update
    I just tested my Boxee, bypassing my receiver and projector and going HDMI direct to a Samsung monitor. It does the same boot up with sound and animation and I get the rotating circle for a short while and then "Mode not supported". I assume that it is trying to do th 50Hz thing still ....

    Do I have bad firmware? Do I need to re-initiate the box somehow to factory settings? if so, how? help!!

    Just did a factory reset (googled how, turn on holding button for more than 5 but less than 8 seconds) and I seem to be on path to recovery .. however, lost all my settings, weblinks, etc. drat
