Boxee Media Manager share to Boxee PC
I have Boxee installed on a netbook and am currently using it to stream from my media shares to my TV. I've installed Media Manager for iPad streaming also but is there any way to use the Media Manager to share to the netbook as well without having to have the SMB shares?

I don't think the Boxee software for Windows knows about the Boxee Media Manager protocol since the Boxee software is about a year old and the BMM software was just added... in fact, I'm pretty sure that older versions of the Boxee Box firmware wouldn't find BMM shared files either.
The Boxee software for computers is supposed to be updated later this fall which would then have the functionality you're looking for (I would assume).

Looking at version numbers it would appear it's pretty far behind. You're right though, it doesn't even detect any of the Boxee shared files.
