Boxee fails to load file from NAS

Hi.

my network setup is this.

i have a router linksys wrt160nl, running dd-wrt firmware, with samba installed connected to the HDD.

the movies on that HDD are accessible by boxee only to view, when i try to play the videos i get
Playback Error:
the media source or file is not accessible

when i try it from my laptop it works just fine (and i am running win 7 so its samba as well.)

any ideas whats going on? or how to fix it?.
