Angry divx 5 movies stalling - h.264/mpeg 4 avc movies not playing

after this 'great update' 1.2.0.20310 have the following problems

    1. all of my h.264/mpeg4 avc encoded movies are not playing, boxee is saying is the that the media is corrupt. all these movies used to work prior to the update.

    2. my divx5 encoded movies are now stalling after a random amount of time and will not advance or continue past the point that they stall. and it is not a set time, some will stall 15 minutes into a movie, others will stall 45 minutes or an hour in.

My opinion the Boxee box and the updates that it has received are its a POS. The devs are just pushing out updates to the community and letting us be the beta testers. Meantime I loss the convinence of the device which is the reason I orginally purchased it and have to have a pc up and running next to my TV again just to watch my movies.

Can I recommned this device to my friends and family for user?? NO, not in its current state
