amo Boxee Remote Control for ANDROID RELEASED!!!

Hi
Im using a boxee box with the newest firmware. But i cant get the Amo remote to work. Amo remote and the boxee is paired correct. However when i push the harddisk icon all i see is the "Select a source to search below" but there is nothing below. If i push the "Now plaing icon" all i see is the message "Nothing i currently playing"

Im new into the boxee world so i might be something very simpel that im doing wrong. Any ideas?

If you are paired correctly then it should work. Can you double check your Boxee Box on Screen Files section and see if you have any sources listed?

Good start, I see alota potential here. I'm using a Toshiba thrive w 3.1 its working well, I do see a need for a vol control or I might not be seeing it. I like the NA I area, great to see it with pictures, I really want this to stream avis to my pad via this app, please make it work

am looking forward to where this is going, great potential, loving the interactive stuff when the videos playing, kinda hard to not go get a cheak tablet dedicated to this app :-) anyway loving it

You won't be disappointed. I have local playback of avi/mkv/mp4, etc. working. The update will most likely go out tonight, but if last night was any indication it might be several hrs after I publish before it hits. lol

You will need an appropriate player, like rockplayer lite from the market. I don't recommend Mobo because it wasn't stable on my n1 (crashed both times I tried it).

Action will be poster click, popup boxee or android buttons unless I can get a more elegant solution in before tonight.

Ok Update published. Current users will need to re-pair once. I don't anticipate this happening again, but I needed to modify the pair as it contained test data. You may unpair the old from Boxee.

ETA: a few hrs depending on Google. This version add's local playback of avi, mkv, etc via freeware apps on the market like "rockplayer lite". When you select something in Navi-X section now, you will have the option of boxee or android. Enjoy.

Please make sure you are on your local internet (wifi) and not 3g or 4g if you plan on playing these locally. Most of the mobile carriers are capped @ 5GB a month for example, so please, know before you click Android.

Have a request, I have two boxee boxes, I would love it if I could have the app sniff and display all boxes it finds then give choice which to connect also this function when "boxee?" Thanks in advance loving this super app hope to stream to my thrive soon :-)

Right now the detection is automatic with a manual override via settings. We thought about adding the selector but it wasn't seamless. What is your typical control? Moving rooms and want to re-detect? Are all Boxee Devices on at all times? Only the ones on communicate.

The update is in the market and it works. ETA: ?, ask Google. lol
