Thread: No sound from network to TV.

    Unhappy No sound from network to TV.

    I get the opening trills as the cube assembles itself, but after that I get no sound from any source by using the HDM cable. If I plug the Boxee into the amplifier (a nice old Onkyo, very weird) I get good sound from any app. This started yesterday. (Aug 29) although I had two occasions in previous weeks when I started an app and got picture but no sound. I have tinkered with the audio settings on the TV and got no change.

    I also tried the boxee box on another TV and also got opening tinkles, but no sound from any app. I reset the router and checked the network setup just to make sure it was receiving properly and all seems find. Now I have the audio running into the Onkyo and all is well, but I'd like to get audio through the HDM plugs.

    Suggestions? It seems to me that there must be a failure in the box.

    I have exactly the same problem after 1.2, sound during startup animation, then no sound.

    I logged a support ticket, it has not yet been reviewed.
