    Default Bmm

I don't know why most people do not use BMM for their streaming. It has worked perfectly for me as SMB buffers constantly.

Elaborate some more on the Boxee Media Manager...

Why would it be any better than SMB?

When I stream a movie or show it does not buffer when I use BMM as with SMB I always get buffering issues.

    Default BMM (Boxee Media Manager)

The only downside to the BMM is even though you can add it as a source it does not generate any metadata/cover art which means it is not recgonized in your movies/show section. you can only use it by going to the files section. That is probably a dealer breaker for a lot of people.

OK. Thanks. That explains why I never heard about that. It's for an apple product and I don't have any of those.

I was going by the link.

    it says

The Boxee Media Manager enables you to stream all of the media that is available on computers or storage devices in your home network to your iPad.
SO it can be used for devices other than the iPAD?

Why would they only mention an iPad?
