Looking great. It's amazing how much nicer this looks on a tablet. Not dogging the phone layouts, but wow, real estate... Shoot my Nexus One is 800x480 and it's small now...but it still works for this application - tablets just get a bit more love.

    Hey Peeps,

Just wanted to let you know I got the opportunity to look at beta shots of this app in action... courtesy of neveroffline and I'm pretty sure this is going to be a big winner in many peoples books! I can't give you details but it appears to have pretty fluid browsability and some cool features and functions that will satisfy your media needs! Keep an eye out for this app set to be released sometime in the future. Quality stuff!

Will this allow me to "manage" my Boxee from my Android phone. The content is on an external HDD, Boxee is plugged into my amplifier - I specifically want to be able to select music to play without having to turn on my TV and use the normal user interface. My Android device is an HTC Desire.

Yes, as I said in another thread (somewhere here) you may use this with your TV off, AVR on, and Boxee Box on to nav to and play

Is what you are proposing here the currently available "amo Boxer Remote Control" on the android market or something yet to appear?

This is in the process of being Launched. The wait is over. I will post a new thread shortly with screenshots and more info as well as a link to the market.

Unfortunately current users will need to download new. For a limited time the price has been reduced for this purpose. The old version will continue to work for those who have it, you just won't have the new features and won't be able to buy that version anymore.

Has anyone tried it, and if so what are your impressions? Does it work with both the Boxee box but also with Boxee on Linux, Windows, etc.?

Try this for reviews, or you know you could lookup amo boxee on the Android market and answer your own question.

No Boxee on the mac, PC, linux etc are not supported for this. That's Boxees fault, not ours. We're all running 1.0+ while beta is at .9. HUGE difference.
