why does boxee not start playback from clip start?

Why does boxee box start to play clips 3 seconds past start? I think this should have been adressed by now.

if you mean the audio not starting right away - thats here http://jira.boxee.tv/browse/BOXEE-8284 slated for 1.2.1, but yeah rediculous that this hasn't been fixed yet

No try to play a short clip and you se it starts some seconds in the clip. Be sure the clip dont start with black frames. You can rewind to se the first frames. Sometimes its even skipping a second or two at the end.
