    Default NFL Has Opened up

Looks like Directv has finally moved to letting NFL Sunday ticket work with home devices and mobiles etc.

They announced there will be an App on PS3, and iOS devices, and android, for this season. But now you won't need to have Directv to get it, you just pay the price, $340, and it's yours.

The PS3 thing could be an exclusive where boxee can't get it but I'm hopeful.

Anyway, boxee team, here's your chance to push for some NFL & NBA goodness. I'll know ill sign up for both. They're now both going to be widely available on almost every other device. Hulu, NFL, NBA, time to make some moves!

This would be big if Boxee could add NFL to its list of apps. I'm currently in Germany and use Boxee for all my entertainment and my biggest issue is the lack of live sports available.

Hmm, would that include every game then? I'm assuming this works on boxee? I normally hate watching sports delayed but I'm in college so I could probably use the time delay.

You know what I'd really LOVE, is NFL redzone. I watched it on my friends tv last year and I've gotta say it's freaking awesome. WAY cheaper than Sunday ticket also. I'm talkin 5-10$ a month for the channel while it's on air. Boxee even if that's all you can swing make that move.

WE WANT LIVE SPORTS. It's truly the biggest hole in the boxee platform.

Ugh I've never messed with playon. I'm on a Mac and last time I checked they didn't support macs so I didn't bother with them.

    That is interesting though.

I also have a MAC desktop but I use playon with my windows laptop. There is a way to use playon on the MAC but u have to install Windows on it. Or you could try using the boxee web browser

The article I read said it was exclusive to the PS3 in the gaming category. Which is huge. But no mention about devices like Boxee.
