Default BD Subtitles not displaying properly after update to latest

So before the latest firmware, I could rip, and playback my expensive imported BR Disc's with subtitles no problem. After the update, now when I enable subtitles, they display for maybe half a second, and then are gone. Every time there is a new line of dialogue, they display again for about a half second, and then are gone. Changing them to another language does not seem to help. Changing the subtitle, or enabling and disabling them does not change anything. I also tried to adjust the aspect ratio (A fix from one of the original bugs with subtitles long ago), and this also did not help.

The rips I have are full, 50GB disc rips from imported titles I bought, which cost a crapload of money. I don't want my family derping around with the discs themselves, so getting this feature to work again is kinda important for me.

I noticed this happening yesterday when I was checking out my MKV of Avatar to see how it played. I wasn't sure what the issue was since I typically use my BD ISO to watch so I guess it is some issue with the firmware causing it. I never did try another title with forced subtitles.

They probably don't even know about it if no one has opened a JIRA ticket on it.

I've noticed a subtitle issue as well. For all BRs with non-english parts, I just had the subtitle track included in my MKV file and the subtitle just came up as it should. However, none of my "forced" subtitles for these sections are working now.

Note: I'm not on the beta, just the latest release.

This was fixed with the August 20th beta. I have not checked out any subtitles yet with the beta released today.

This needs to be fixed in a non beta release. I'm using bd folder rips (clown bd).
