I just started looking into Boxee and like what I see. I will probably get it, but if there was an app for the BlackBerry PlayBook like there is for the iPad it would be a lock that I would get it. Are there any plans to make this? BlackBerry has a large following and I'm sure an app like this could get featured on CrackBerry.com which would translate to a lot of coverage, interest, and sales.

yes, PLEASE make a PlayBook app!
I don't know what the iPad app is coded in, but the PlayBook has tons of developer frameworks to build off, including HTML5.
I bet it would take you guys no time to port over!

I'm using my BlackBerry Playbook connected with an HDMI cable to HDTV to watch streaming Global TV content in Canada on my big screen until such time that Boxee Box does their last Flash upgrade...that's of course if down the road I realize the firmware was indeed updated!

Type Boxee in Playbook App World Search...there are two free remote Apps currently available although I haven't tried either one yet.
