iPad app doesn't see Boxee Box

I installed the iPad app and ofcourse the latest firmware. The first time it couldn't find the BB, but after resetting the iPad it could. But after sending a video to the BB i could not stop it with the remote. I could only pause the video en go back and forward.

I wanted to test it today with another video, but the app could nkt find the BB again.
As the app doesn't bring me much value either, so i uninstalled it. Maybe when new features are being added i will give it a try.

More people having these problems?

I have the same problem. My ipad can't see my boxee (on my mac).

it's a bug?

I posted a similar issue yesterday! Only rebooting the box enables the ipad to see it again.

Do any of you have the screensaver enabled? If so, what settings?

Or does it just "stop working" even when you're actively using the Box?

I don' t use a specific screensaver, just the standard one. Mine doesn't see the BB. I didn't even used it actively, just started it up. After the box had started up i opened the app. Then after some use of the BB it still doesn't find it. So one time it did, but then it didn't anymore.

For me its the same with airplay. Works fine after startup, but then after a while boxee is no longer found.

Yeah, the airplay doesn't function very well also. But it's experimental, so that will get better i hope.

I'm new to boxee and was brought to the tech after playing with the iPad app.

I've since installed boxee on my win7 htpc and I still get prompted to buy a boxee box when pressing the "play on tv" button

Is this a premium only feature or have I misconfigured something?

I'm having the same problem. The Boxee Box and my iPad is on the same wireless network. Tried restarting both. But still just showing the "Buy Boxee Box" window in the iPad app, when I click the TV button...
