Live, foreign streams and misc questions

I posted a similar thread on the PCH forums as I'm trying to decide between the A210 and Boxee Box.

Few questions:

1) How many foreign channels are available on the Boxee Box (referring to the hardware)? My wife is from Macedonia and she was wondering if there's any live streams from there on Boxee Box?

2) Our camcorder records into MTS (or MT2S, I forget which one) files. I heard reports that the Boxee Box chokes on high bitrate files. The files from our HD camcorder records in VBR and the bitrate is typically around 15 megs. Our WDTV Live has no problems with this but our Seagate Free Agent Theater+ will start to choke if I fast forward/rewind an AVCHD file from our camcorder. Any such problems with Boxee Box handling these files?

3) I read something about BB having problems with audio drop out on certain files (MKV) with DD/DTS soundtracks. It appears this problem has been happening for several months and it's maybe Intel's fault. Has this been fixed?
