BMM needs to be over wifi not ethernet?

Hi forum,

Installed BMM on my iMac, but my iMac is connected to my router via ethernet not WiFi. Is it for this reason I cannot see my media via the iPad app? Surely I can still access the net at my gigabit speeds through ethernet and still tell BMM to source my media through the routers WiFi. Can I run ethernet and wifi at the same time on my imac?

Yeah you can do that.
I also have mine connected like that, and i dont understand why that isnt supported.
I mean it should work as long as it is connected to the same router it should work. Ethernet is more stable and faster, that is why i use it on my maschines.
And that is why i think it is wierd that this is not supported as default.
Maybe that will be supported in an update...

I have a laptop with video files connected to Ethernet via a router and then the iPad connect to wifi via the same router and that works for me, no wifi enabled on the laptop.

The two are unrelated, everything in my house but mobile devices and Boxee Box are wired and BMM works fine for me.
