Not sure why I get this message but I can't open the media manager app on my black Macbook. The machine is a Core Duo 2Ghz and it's running 10.6.8.
Any ideas?

So I guess this means the media manager is only for 64-bit macs... DAMN! My mac is about 3 years old now ... this sucks.
same here, i have a mac mini core duo 1.66 on osx 10.6.8, and get the same error. but on the media manager requirement it just says 10.5 and up. so what gives?
Has anyone tried VMware. I hate to bog down my already slow mac mini, but will try vmware if it works.
Don't run either. But if the App is straight forward 64 bit, it was the right decision and I can live with that.
Just downloaded all the software and now media manger won't run. Is there no hope or answers for us. Is it the 64 bit thing alone? I can run Boxee but not the media manger?
sorry this will only run on a 64 bit mac machines
Just had this from support:-
So at least there's hope for a future versionSorry but the Boxee Media Manager requires a 64bit system, meaning it most likely won't work on older computers. Please check the support of your CPU.
We may add a new version in the future that will support it.![]()
Seems a shame that BMM doesn't support (ahem) 'mature' Macs; beneath the TV is a great place to retire hardware that's no longer cutting-edge, but not quite obsolete either.
C'mon guys, do your bit for recycling![]()
