Boxee audio on my TV? Also, auto screen select?
Hi guys, just found out about Boxee today and so far I see some potential. I want to use boxee to watch Netflix from my Samsung 32" 720p LCD HDTV. I've connected the TV via HDMI to my computer. I open boxee and then set my TV as the display that has boxee in it. The trouble begins there. Boxee thinks it is 1080p, so my mouse doesn't work correctly, and if I try to start Boxee after I've enabled my TV as a display, Boxee automatically loads in my computer monitor, not my TV.
The more pressing issue however is audio. How can I get Boxee to play the netflix audio through my TV, rather than through my computer's speakers? I set the audio output device to something calling "SAMSUNG HIGH DEFINITION MEDIA INTERFACE" or something like that, which I assume is the HDMI cable to my Samsung TV. Unfortunately, the audio still plays from my computer's speakers.
Anybody know how to remedy these issues? If Boxee isn't capable of what Id like to do, does anyone know what other options might be available to me?

1. When computer is connected to monitor, lower the resolution on the computer.
2. As for connecting audio, you'd need one of two things
a) spdif coax connector(basically an rca cable) that would connect your HD audio from computer direct to input audio coax connector of tv
if your tv does not have this connector available, then most likely you'll need:
b) single line audio male connector that splits to RCA connector (RedWhite)
Your TV should have at the very least, a rca input (red/white)
adapter looks like:
if using spdif/coax connector, then use HDMI audio selection in Boxee
if using rca adapter, then use realtek ( and select analog option in boxee )

I've discovered that the audio works fine from my TV if I play movies from my harddrive, but it doesnt play from the TV if I play movies from a streaming service. If I set my default sound device (in the control panel) to my TV, then it works for everything. So why does the audio output device setting in Boxee only work for half of the media it says it can play? That seems like a relatively easy bug to fix, is this a new issue?

if you set Boxee application to use analog audio , instead of digital, it should play everything fine
and set to primary audio device instead of realtek audio hmdi etc.....

That's the thing though. My primary audio device is my motherboard's sound card. I don't want to use that. I want to use my television's sound, so that the sound plays from the TV, not the computer. When I set the audio output device to the TV sound, it only works for some of the media I play.
