Streaming video from windows SMB audio sync problem

I started installing Boxee last night by having to update my ATV from 1.1 to unfortunately 2.3. from there i used the patch stick and got it re-hacked. I got boxee and nitotv installed and everything. got my SMB windows share mounted and browsing just fine.

my issue is that when i play video files the audio and video loose the sync. The audio is about half a second faster than the video.

since i had to stop last night at 2:30am, and had work to go to, i didnt really do a ton of trouble shooting with this problem.

is anyone else experiancing this problem when the audio and video become out of sync? i'm wondering if its an ATV audio option because the audio dosnt sound as well as it did using nitotv and ATV1.0.

sorry to thread jack, but how did you get the windows smb file sharing to work using nitotv?
