close caption for netflix?

hey everyone i'm new so maybe this is already gone over but does boxee get close caption on netflix i have a apple tv and it doesnt i need the cc for my wife who is deaf thanks

You are posting in Boxee for AppleTV Help section… are you trying to turn on CC in Netflix in Boxee that is installed on AppleTV? Unless you are referring to other setup like Boxee Box or Boxee installed on a computer… anyway here's supported device that Netflix will stream video with subtitle (they call it cc)

So obviously Boxee Box is the only device that is supported… AppleTV with Boxee will not have it for sure at all. I do not know about the next update of Boxee for computer. Hopefully that does happen. AppleTV 2 has Netflix but no subtitle support yet as shown in the link above.

I do not own AppleTV 2 so I have no idea if using airplay to stream Netflix from iphone or ipad to tv will display subtitle at all. no idea.
