Default Boxee on OS X Lion - any issues?

I see a few threads discussing SMB shares from OS X Lion to a Boxee Box, but nothing about running Boxee on a Lion Mac.

Has anyone tested it yet? I would like to know it’s working okay before I upgrade, since Boxee is my main use of the machine …

there are issues with the SMB. it was fixed in the latest version of the boxes box firmware but i am unaware of there being a fix for the MAC version.

I don’t use any SMB shares, so that doesn’t worry me.

If the current version runs okay on Lion apart from that, I’m good to go.

I am currently having the same difficulties accessing SMB with Boxee after upgrading to the new Lion OS. I am hoping this is sorted out soon because I am a huge fan of Boxee and use it frequently.

Aside from the two known issues (SMB sharing and Screen Sharing, mentioned here), Boxee seems to be running fine on Lion for me so far. No discernible change from running it on Snow Leopard.

Bumping up my Mac Mini’s RAM from 1GB to 8GB has made things a lot snappier, though! Finally, the YouTube app opens videos in a matter of seconds rather than minutes.

I have not had luck with Netflix, Boxee and 10.7. All of the lists such as instant queue...recommendations....will not retrieve any contents.

I am hoping this is related to SMB....don't know. I am in the process of enabling shares on my iMac and will know better then.

Netflix on Boxee software is pretty broken (and is nothing like the newer Netflix app on the Boxee Box).

I have a Macbook pro (Mid 2009) And I don't have any issues with Boxee on it with LION OSX. Even ran Developer preview 1-3 before the final copy was released. I also use SMB: network to stream all my movies off my mediacenter in the other room.
