Slow motion function??

Hello guys n gals, can somebody please confirm if the Boxee Box has a slow motion function during video playback??

The only slow motion function I've found is the pause option. But I'd rather call that a no motion option.

I don't think there are any 1/2, 1/4 or slower playback features.

What on Earth would you possibly need a slow-motion function on your Boxee Box for anyways?? I must know.

slow-motion is awesome for scary movies on scenes that move very fast like for monsters. you can rewind it then slow it down to see exactly what the monster looks like. Like on the original The Ring movie, Hollywood version

Okay... I would figure rewind would be enough for you but hey, it's good to have a healthy imagination and slow-motion would help do the trick I suppose... Really make you wet the bed seeing the slow motion image of a monster in high definition in my sleep.

It would be really great to have a slow motion function especially to analyze your own sports video to improve your technique e.g. your service in tennis.

why boxee doesn't have a slow motion function is beyond me... this is huge. been bummed about not having it for a long time.
