    Thumbs down Playing MP3 files, the first ~30s skips (fast forwards)

    When I play MP3 files (Music) in Boxee, the music file just skips ahead about ~20-40 seconds before playing at "normal speed". It's like for the first 1-3 seconds, the audio is going at 2x speed, then slows back down to normal speed, resuming in the middle of the song.

    How can I troubleshoot this?

    I've heard some (unconfirmed) statements that Boxee doesn't support pulseaudio. Could this be the culprit?

    After formatting, and updating to Ubuntu 11.04, still using pulse-audio, the problem no longer persists.
