Default Boxee and the PS3 Bluetooth Remote

So I have successfully gotten my PS3 remote paired to my PC via bluetooth. It controls everything on my PC just fine - browsing through explorer, controlling Windows Media Center, F1-12 keys, etc - all works fine. However when I launch Boxee it seems as though the remote controls absolutely nothing. For an easy example, I have the up/down/left/right keys on my PS3 remote mapped to the arrow keys of the computer. It works fine in every application but Boxee. So I thought, hey maybe Boxee doesn't use the arrow keys to navigate however when I just launch Boxee and use the arrow keys straight from my keyboard it works fine. Does anyone have any ideas or success stories that might be able to help me out? Basically my PS3 remote will control everything on my computer except the Boxee application.

You might want to search for PS3 in the "remotes" section of the forums, found this thread for example: http://forums.boxee.tv/showthread.php?t=13702

Thanks alot darcilicious. His .ini file did it for me. I still don't quite understand though because I'm comparing his config with mine and they are almost the exact same. Oh well, I'm pleased it's working. Thanks again for that link and my apologies for not searching first.

I gave up getting my PS3 remote working reliably.

I just bought a MCE remote.

How did you connect your PS3 to your PC? What are the PC requirements to do that?

Codeseven was talking about using the PS3 remote with Boxee, not connecting the PS3 itself to Boxee. There is no way to do that.
