Seems to be working ok for tv shows but not for movies? Debug output seems to mention something about the duration of the film is the problem?

Yes my tv shows did show up in trakt. the 1 movie did not.

I'll look into movies, can one of you provide some of the debug output when you get near the end of the movie (>90% mark)? If possible, create an issue on Github so we aren't cluttering this thread (https://github.com/cold12/Trakt-for-Boxee/issues).

It's not an app that runs on the Boxee Box. It's a "monitoring" program that you install on a computer and it communicates with the Boxee Box and the trakt.tv site.
If you read in the instructions on the home page of the project/code site, it's pretty clear what you need to do. https://github.com/cold12/Trakt-for-Boxee (near the bottom).
