    Default Video Scrambled after update

    Hi,
    My wife preformed some update today while I was a work. She was prompted when she booted the boxee this morning?
    Anyway, now the video is all scrambled. I can hear it moving through the menu fine but cant see what the hell I am doing.
    I have pulled the power and checked the cables.
    The boot is okay, I can see the boxee loading and then the boxes bouncing on the screen. ONce it gets the menu though, It is unusable.

    HELP!?

    So I tried the factory reset while waiting for help and looking through other threads.
    The reset took, the old terrible GUI was there.
    I was then asked to update and did.

    After the update and restart though, I am back to the same problem.

    I can't see anything because the display is all scrambled. Reminds me of the look of a video card being set to high on a monitor.
    I had hoped to relax and watch some movies with my wife tonight....

    Please help.

    It is a dvi cable.
    THe video is fine till it gets the GUI. the post and boot video is fine.

    Yes, there's a known issue with DVI connections. I believe Boxee is working on it.

    When are they fixing this issue?
    Do you work for Boxee?
    This is not a minor issue. This is a very big problem. In the industry my company develops for this would be a Sev1. There are users that can not use the device.
    Its not a minor problem.
    I reset, updated to a version I was happy with that I still had on a USB and its fine, again however.... the update is shoved down my throat and I'm in the same terrible situation. From what I can tell, so that I can use my Iphone to control the device.... Seriously.
    Damn, wrecks my quiet Friday night.

    No, I'm just a volunteer to help manage the forums and I help other users as I'm able.
