My Thumb WiFi remote for Android
Hi guys,
I finished a very simple Boxee WiFi remote for Android:
* Auto detection of your boxee server
* swipe navigation: swipe up to navigate up, swipe down to navigate down, etc. Tap to select an item in Boxee
* Shows media poster and name as remote backgroud
* Also has Play/Pause, FFWD, STOP buttons.
* Will automatically pause a playing video on Boxee upon a phone call!
* Probably more stuff I can't remember.
Download from here: http://goo.gl/OMGF5
It is an open source project. If anyone wants to look at the code, goto my github:

Thank you so much for this!
It really works fantastic!
I used it on a HTC wildfire and I did not find any issues.

Great
I'll continue to work on this remote software, and add new features (like Shake-to-pause).
Once it will ready, I'll post it to the Android Market.

Hey Menny, i had to register to to post and say THANK YOU SO MUCH.
Fastest easiest app for boxee ever, some really nice stuff there like the pause on phone call, the thumbnail and playback buttons only when playing a file.
and NO set up. Again, Thank you, the only app that worked for me.

Hey menny, i've run into a couple of problems with the remote.
If the remote can't find a server in the network, i try again and again and it just won't so i have to uninstall and reinstall for it to work.
I also get a force close when i click custom server when trying to input manually.
I don't mind really because it's such an awesome app, just thought i'd share these with you.

Thanks for the feedback.
I'm continuing to improve the app, and release new versions as they come.
Can you reproduce the problems and send me the logcat?

I registered just to say I love your app.
I had some problem when the phone went to sleep mode that it took a while before it synced again but I think that is solved with another app that makes wifi to be connected even when the phone sleeps.
Is that something you can include in the app insted, force wifi that is.
