    Default tv shows on dvd

I have some tv shows on dvd that I ripped to isos. This worked well for mythtv but obviously not good for boxee.

Is there a preferred way of ripping a dvd into epiosodes (s01e01 style) from a dvd using handbrake or similar?

I use DVDDecrypter followed by AutoGK. I ripped all of my simpsons with multiple audio streams (main and commentary).

There are probably as many ways as there are people doing it. I like using DVD Shrink. I separate the shows using it, then create an image using imgburn.

If the shows are already on DVD as separate titles, it's a simple task. If not, I believe there is a mode in which you can manually split them.

A lot of the older shows weren't made with all that good a video quality, so it may not make sense to keep full DVD quality on them. If that's the case, DVD Shrink will let you manually adjust the compression.

I don't own stock in DVD Shrink or anything, I've just used it a lot with good success, and thus am reasonably familiar with it.
