Boxee has no trouble with 720p movies that are around 2-3gb, but when I go up to 1080p, or a movie exceeding 3gb, I get some serious lag.
Would anyone be able to tell me how to optimise this?
My setup consists of a wireless N connection (D-Link DIR-615), and a 4TB networked drive (D-Link DNS-323).
I'm assuming the problems are either:
- The wireless is transferring to slow for the Boxee ATV to keep up
- The Boxee ATV cannot handle downscaling from 1080p to 720p in real-time.
Does anyone know any way I can optimise my HD movies, or am I just going to have to deal with it? Thank you!
