Default Volume resets to loudest every time I turn Boxee on

Having a weird volume problem (using latest pushed release). No matter what I set the volume on the box, whenever I turn the box off and on, the volume is automatically at the loudest again and I have to click it down.

This started after the fix to permit volume control on the boxee remote once again. Anyone else having this issue?

I Think this has been around before..
    Note that I'm a 1.0.4'r

When booting, the intro screen is always at max volume.

When starting a vid, its at max as well (regardless of the what it was before)
BUT...when I go to reduce the volume it will 'skip' to where it was previously set.
Basically its not a 'smooth reduction in volume', but rather a quick skip to the lower, original volume.

The above scenerio occurs only after a reboot..the volume works steadily and quite well (as it should) when playing different vids/sources while it remains un-rebooted.

I never had that problem with any other version of Boxee, and I've had them all (pre-ordered the Box and using it since it first came out). Also when I go to lower the volume it doesn't jump to the last spot it was at pre-reboot, but it smoothly goes down.

I just wasn't sure if I should post a bug report on jira or if anyone else had encountered this problem.

    Hey,

I've got this problem too and a bit annoying for the volume to be set back to maximum after a reboot...

Is this a bug? or normal feature?

Heh, it's probably called a feature until they change it, in which case it's a bug.
