No, it's only for the Boxee Box unfortunately (it's an HTML5 app). You can, however, search for BBC titles in the TV Shows Library screen and watch BBC offerings that way.

I think they did an update as I redownload it and it works now ;-) on Optical too

Default Working (thank you!) but there's a bug...

Very pleased to see the BBC iPlayer app working: thanks for this, it's an important app for me. There are some minor problems but overall I'm very pleased.

The minor problem: Sometimes after having paused a programme for a while, when you go back to play, you get not only the current audio but also audio (and sometimes images) from earlier in the programme, especially from very near the start. Sometimes the programme will essentially start over again, but will keep looping and crossfading/mixing audio between the current location and the start of the show.

This effect can also occur when you try to seek to elsewhere in the show. Quitting out and coming back in seems to be a workaround.

    Anyone else got this?

I can get the iPlayer to work on my Boxee box for the first time but when I get there I can't seem to control it with the remote. All I get is the mouse and I can't seem to click on anything. What am I doing wrong?

Yep, I get this too. Also happens when it has to buffer, which pretty much makes it unwatchable as you then get multiple audio streams overlapping each other :-(

+1 - Click was unwatchable - although other programs (e.g. Paul Merton's Birth of Hollywood) was perfect. Anyone raised an issue in Jira?

I have had a 10 minute play with the app, and it is a lot better then before, and will now be my go to device for iPlayer . Now just need an app for ITV Player, 4OD, Channel 5 and maybe a Sky and Love Film .
