Japanese characters messed up my friends activity feed

I haven't had any new recent friends activity in over two weeks. The last message was a tweet that had some Japanese characters in it. I'm guessing this is what has caused the feed to get stuck and stopped it from updating. Any suggestions on how I could fix this?

Contact technical support I think may be your best option. Or maybe try removing and re-adding all your friends? (I'm assuming this is just Boxee friends; if not, try completely disconnecting and then re-adding related services: http://boxee.tv/services )

thanks, I disconnected the twitter service and I'll wait a bit to see if my twitter posts disappear on my friends feed if not I'll contact tech support.
