    Default Access My Boxee from my Mac

    Hello

    I'm trying to access my boxee box hard drives form my mac, I have setup on the boxee the SMB client, I'm able to connect to the unit and see the hard drive, but when I click the drives says wrong user and password, I tried with the user the smb client has on boxee and also with the user I used for logging to my mac but has the same problem.

    Any Help Please

    First what settings do you have for Settings>>Network>>Servers under Windows file sharing?



    Next how do you have the USB drives formatted?

    Default Problem in accessing USB connected HardDrive via Boxeebox

    I was able to use my USB hard drive connected with my Boxeebox as a network drive. In my Mac, I was able to see the boxeebox and that way I could able to see all files in that Fat32 formatted drive. But suddenly that network drive is lost and after trying for several days I cannot see the drive in either my Mac or in my Windows XP PC. I tried to reset the boxeebox,checked the windows sharing option in the box but without any success. So strange...!!! Anyone has any solution? Please suggest me step by step how to connect the USB HDD share from my Mac and PC.

    Hi there,

    regarding my problem I mentioned earlier, I got the solution.

    Its nothing but Mac Firewall issue. I turned it off. The boxeebox HDD showed up in my Mac. And then turn the firewall off again but boxeebox remained. Its strange haa!! Anyway, now I can access the HDD and copy files over the wireless...
