Default Boxee Box loses video signal exiting Netflix

I have my Boxee connected via HDMI to my 32" toshiba LCD. Whenever I attempt to exit the Netflix app, I lose video signal and it will not recover unless i unplug/replug the HDMI cord from the TV. The Boxee Box doesn't crash, it just dumps the video signal. I have not had this happen with any other app (though it did happen once on initial boot, but could not replicate) and it happens without fail on the Netflix app.

As you can imagine this is incredibly annoying and Boxee is becoming less and less popular with the WAF because of it. Anyone with any ideas on a cause of this and/or a remedy?

The same thing is happening to me on all 3 of my Boxee Boxes, just since the most recent firmware upgrade. However, I hadn't tried pulling the HDMI cable, I just thought it was a lockup and rebooted.

I'm having the same issue. I emailed you, Kosta!

I also have a Toshiba television. I don't know if that's significant or not...

Default Here is how I fixed the problem

This will only work if you are experiencing the problem from a toshiba TV. There is a firmware update for Toshiba TV's that has a fix to the problem. Here is the link to the website:http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/t...2865249&ref=EV

This will fix the problem. However, if you are using an outdated HDMI cable it will appear as though the problem has gotten worst and will only be fixed if the HDMI cable is updated to an IS 1.3 compliant cable. Here is the forum I found the information in: http://forums.toshiba.com/t5/Televis...ue/td-p/147622
