Well I'm really puzzled now, I'm using the UPnP media "eye connect " for mac.
This was working before the latest update/s. It still it ain't working for me even tho people are saying it's now fixed with the very latest update.

I can't even get SMB shares to work. This as never worked for me hence why I was using UPnP. Windows sharing is set to on both on BB and my mac and Workgroup is named on both devices.

My Sony tv picks up my media server no problem, so does the BB, it serves everything up to me but I can't play music or view photos even tho It shows me the Album name etc. Every time I try to access them through SMB I get the "not permitted " box.

I can connect to my Hdd read and write to it no trouble.
Can anyone please give me any ideas as I've ran out of them, getting this working would make my BB perfect.

Should I try another media server?
