Differentiating between two shows with the same name

Hey, all. New to Boxee here, and have an issue I haven't been able to find a solution in the forums for.

While scanning and loading files, Boxee seems have conniptions with two shows that share the same name. In particular:

• Doctor Who (1963) and Doctor Who (2005), the original series and remake
• Life (2007) and Life (2009) a cop show and a nature program

In the case of the first one, I have both series on my machine, and it mashes them together. In the second case, it refuses to recognize the cop show version at all.

For Life, I have tried adding "(2007)" or "2007" to the folder name, I've also tried putting in the file name, such as "life.2007.s1e01" or "life.s1e01.2007", in which case the files just aren't found. When left alone, it just pulls in the nature program. When I have manually found the right show and selected "try to apply to entire folder," it never applies it.

For Doctor Who, I have just tried to put the year in the folder name, and it makes no difference - all the files are just listed as the 2005 version.

If anyone has a solution, it would be fantastic!

These two shows have been talked about quite a bit already. Have you tried searching the forums?

Not by show, no...but as I said above, I did search the forums for the issue, but thanks for the help.
