    Default Justin.tv app

Just downloaded and installed Boxee on my mini (see below). Then downloaded and installed the Justin.tv app.

On load, the app apparently does log me in to Justin.tv. However, the app then immediately presents an error screen:

    ---

    ERROR

    'channel'

    [ OK ]

    ----

On 'OK,' a 'not found' message is revealed:

"Sorry, we didn't find any live channels in the selected subcategory / language. Please try expanding your search."

The menu choice in the upper left is titled 'Favorites.' The menu choice on the upper right is set to 'All Languages.'

The error message occurs whether or not there are live broadcasters in my set of followed channels at Justin.tv.

In the web-based Justin.tv UI, there is no 'Favorites,' although one may 'Follow' and 'Unfollow' a channel. Therefore it is my assumption that 'Favorites' represents the same data set as 'Followed' channels.

If a Followed broadcaster is providing a stream, I can see it by browsing to it under the appropriate category.

I do not see a way to 'Add to Favorites' while watching a selected stream.

    Please advise.

    One more point:

when viewing a Justin.tv stream, there are three icons in the upper right of the view: a heart, a pencil, and a gear.

Clicking the heart *does not* provide an opportunity to follow or add to favorites. Instead, it provides an opportunity to 'Share' the channel. 'Share' is an option provided in the Justin.tv web UI.

I believe this may be a bug, either in the choice of the heart icon or in the presentation of the Share option rather than the Follow option. It reminds me of accidentally collapsed DIVs in CSS.

The heart is on EVERY video in Boxee. It is a Boxee feature. It lets you share out a video you like to your boxee/Twitter/Facebook feeds. Thats normal.

Sounds like the app had some breakage. Reach out to member name "iKeg" and let them know about it... They made the Justin.TV app. They can help, no one else can as well as the app developer.
