Is Boxee CE4100 source package incomplete?
Hi,
I downloaded the Boxee's source for CE4100 and compiled using the Intel SDK provided by the vendor of my CE4100 development board (the SDK available at the download page isn't complete, is it?) and tried to compile it following the instructions in README.CE4100.
The compilation seemed to be successful, but when I ran the installation steps, I got many errors due to missing targets (mainly HAL related componentes). I ignored this and tried to run as described in the README.CE4100. Although I had warnings about some missing files (bxwrapper.so, for instance) I got the initial first time use screen, but couldn't get past the network configuration.
Debugging the code, I found that it was trying to get network configuration information from the HAL component, but it failed while trying to connect to it through a socket (well, there isn't a HAL server).
So, is this HAL server (and other componentes, such as bxwrapper.so) missing from the source package I downloaded or is the README.CE4100 outdated? I tried to run "make BoxeeHal" or a similar (I checked the Makefile to get the correct target), but it couldn't find the folders which should contain the source.
