Default Can you turn off notifications while watching videos?

    I have a Boxee Box.

99% of my usage is watching files stored locally on my NAS. In order to do this my Boxee Box connects over wifi.

Everything works perfectly and I can even stream 1080p HD files over wifi with no problems at all so for the most part I'm happy.

However, sometimes my Boxee Box loses internet connectivity. This doesn't matter because it's still connected to the local NAS via wifi and can still carry on streaming the files over wifi regardless of whether it can see the outside world or not, but every time the internet disappears / reappears the Boxee shows a notification in the top right of the screen.

This is really annoying as it makes no difference to the film / show I'm watching because they're all stored locally so I (A) don't need any net access to watch my files and (B) don't want to be notified about the current state of the internet.

Is there a way to turn these messages off?

    Thanks for the quick reply.

So without wishing to sound like I'm blowing my own trumpet then yes, I do think this would be a good idea.

When watching any media you want to cut down the number of notifications to the bare minimum so people can just enjoy their film // show // whatever.

Especially if the media is local and the notification is about something that doesn't affect the playback.

So is there an official way to request this in the next build? Do I need to submit a support ticket or something?

I'll move this to the Feature Request section
