Default Boxee box hangs up on large iso file

My Boxee box is connected by wireless N to an external HD.
I have no problem playing all files, but when i try to play a large iso file (2.5gb), Boxee box just hangs up.
I've waited for about 5 minutes with no change.
Only disconnecting and reconnecting the power helps.
Is it possible that Boxee box is trying to download a large sum of that 2.5gb iso file before continuing?

That is a very small file. My box regularly plays 40GB BD ISO files with no difficulty.
The problem might be the wireless connection. Try playing the file over the USB connection and see what it does.

    Default No Change

    It still hangs.
Are you streaming on a wireless network?

I use a wired connection. If I try to use the internal Boxee wireless connection to stream a BD ISO it will fill the buffer, play the buffer, pause and fill the buffer again etc.

The internal wireless works great for any of the built in applications but not for streaming a local BD ISO. I've not tried it with a DVD ISO , but since I can stream VUDU HDX over the Boxee wireless I would think it would also work with a DVD ISO.

As mentioned 2.5GB isn't very large. This past weekend, over a wired connection I watched a 29 GB file with DTS Master Audio playing from a NAS and it worked fine. Try an Ethernet cable.
