Default Netflix App TV Shows with Multiple Seasons.

It seems that something has changed over the last 24hours.

I think Netflix changed the format of TV shows that have multiple seasons. They are grouping them together.

As a result it seems that the NetFlix App on the Boxee Box cannot find/read these shows. All single season TV shows and movies still work fine.

I just posted about this yesterday. No one has replied to mine either. It seems as if it has been done on purpose. In the middle of the day yesterday, it was a mess.

Haven't had a chance to check or verify this. I would call or email netflix support (its to my knowledge that Netflix is in charge of the entire app)

They are running a test to see if users will prefer combined seasons. I have noticed about 12 of them so far.

It is not bad for shows with 4 and under seasons but it is a pain for shows with 5 or more. There is just too much to wade through if you want to look for a specific episode.

The upside is that it will make the IW queue cleaner but I still like the old way better.

Freakin' Netflix and using their general customer base as testers, hate that.

I was a bit surprised to find this out yesterday when I got ready to continue watching season 4 of a series. Usually I just load the shows straight from the suggestions or recent category but it showed up as episode 72 so I dropped to my instant queue and discovered all the thumbnails looked the same. I was able to find season 4 but I dont much care for the new format. It might be better if one was just starting a new series. ( I bet they got alot of calls) LOL!

Mine too ! I dont get this, If more than one person in a household is watching different seasons I guess now they have to hunt down the episodes. What are they thinking ?

I am not sure anyone that works there actually uses the service. Even if this were a good idea why are they wasting resources on this when there are so many other more important things that could be done to drastically improve their service?

They really need some good competition.

it's been slowly changing over for the past month or so. I like it, but it does make it sort of difficult in some other ways.
