Boxee hangs Ubuntu 8.10

Did a fresh install of Ubuntu 8.10 and installed Boxee. Boxee install was find and the app starts ok but after a few about 1 min. it hangs and hangs solid. Have to reboot.

I'm sure it's a Nvidia driver issue.

Any suggestions?

Same old same old....

Every time I try to make changes to the video driver and I reboot it always kicks me to the "Ubuntu is running in low-graphics mode"

Any other suggestions?

I've always had video driver issues with Linux. If I ever get a video card working, beyond the basic functions it will be the first.
