Default building a Boxee Media Center

I am building a Boxee Media Center PC and was wondering if anyone had a suggestion as to which Distro would run best as a media center pc?

I've always used Ubuntu 10.04 and had no problems.

however if you want ultimate flexibility in terms of applications available, surely it has to be win7?

i personally am not a winblows fan (even with 7s gui and stuff)

i think its all down to prefence really, i dunno what you mean about applications though?

my boxee media server is sat under my tv, this also is a web server, ftp server, mail server, syncs all the household mobiles for pictures and stuff via bluetooth, file server.
i wouldnt want to even try to set all that up on winblows as i would need al sorts of other apps to run the services.(i.e mail server, iis, dunno about blue tooth sync.
as far as i can tell all the boxee apps work fine on my natty (ubu 11.04) had no real issues except he initial install, but that wasnt too taxing..

Ubuntu 10.04LTS for sure. x86 version works the best. Even on a 64 bit build. About a gig of ram and a dual core for optimal results =)
