maybe... what type of stream is it?
personal: boxee | twitter | boxee hq
boxee: boxee chat | boxee wiki | boxee plugins
i run boxee 0.9.20 on: ubuntu 9.10, windows xp sp3 (virtual machine), windows 7 and a neuros link hacked to all hell.
what super powers does a 'super mod' have? the 'super ban'... that, and laser vision.
mpeg2, i guess
where should i add it ?..
up! .
no, i mean what streaming protocol does it use?

UPDATE!
i have this playlist.m3u file containing one line:
i put it on /Users/frontrow/Movies/ folder and with XBMC i open movies > local > select this m3u file and after some buffering the VIDEO STARTS!!!
when on BOXEE when i try to open the same m3u file, boxee thinks it`s a picture...
PLEASE HELP!
Has anyone managed to get this to work as I would also like to integrate my streaming Dreambox into Boxee.
Thanks
If anyone is interested in getting your Dreambox or ITGate streaming through to Boxee just to do the following:
goto <user>/library/application support/boxee/userdata/profiles/<username>/sources.xml
now edit "sources.xml" (on a Mac use Text Edit on AppleTV use "nano sources.xml" at the terminal command line)
now copy and paste the following into the file near the top:
<source>
<name>Cable TV</name>
<path pathversion="1">http://192.168.1.110:31339</path>
<thumbnail pathversion="1">http://icons.iconseeker.com/png/fullsize/apple-tv/apple-tv-logo.png</thumbnail>
<private>false</private>
</source>
Obviously replace the IP address with that of your cable/satellite box and ensure any internal firewalls/router can accomodate the traffic on whatever port your system is setup to use.
Voila! it should now appear under Application>Videos>Cable TV (with a nice Apple TV logo)
