Lots of glitches, lag, stuttering whatever you want to call it when trying to watch a movie. Any Ideas? I have no issues with any other software (Media Center, Hulu Plus, Zinc, MCM, etc) and have more than enough power to run this app... Thanks.

So you've fixed your black screen / no audio issue?
Also, let's keep your posts on these related/various playback issues in one thread, okay?
From another thread you posted to but haven't responded, please answer these questions:
For reference:1. How is your system set up as far as sound? Are you going out to a receiver over HDMI?
2. How is the problem manifesting? Does audio stutter with every sound file you try, and what format are they in?
3. Do video files stutter as well or only audio files?
4. Are the audio files stored locally or streamed over a network?

1. How is your system set up as far as sound? Are you going out to a receiver over HDMI? Using EVGA X58 3X SLI Motherboard ($300.00) has Realtek 8 Channel I am using Coax to my Onkyo HT-R340 5.1 Surround Sound.
2. How is the problem manifesting? Does audio stutter with every sound file you try, and what format are they in? I pretty much only use it for watching movies so that is where I see it.
3. Do video files stutter as well or only audio files? Yes video stutters a little as well.
4. Are the audio files stored locally or streamed over a network? Streamed over WAN. I have 10 Meg Cable just replaced my Router (was a Dlink Gamerlounge) with a Netgear N600. As I said before, I never have any stuttering or really any issues with any other video source, just Boxee.
---Currently i have 12 gigs of GSkill DDR3 1600 Tripple Channel ram, a Core I7 920 Quad Core, a Vigor Monsoon III LT copper heatsink which has Dual 120MM Fans, Corsair 850 watt power, Dual Nvidia GTX 460's in SLI, Dual DVDRW's (LG and Samsung), and two Western Digital Black Series SATA Drives in a Thermaltake Spedo case. My OS is Windows 7 64 Bit Ultimate. I am running Cat5e to my router. I have tried to make sure there are no issues with hardware or software (besides Boxee of course).
Normally I can play Call of Duty Black Ops at 1920x1080 all settings maxed while recording one or two Over the Air HD shows without any issue in the game or in the recordings as an example..
I am not very in the know with boxee so I am hoping it is some type of setting that will allow it to use the hardware I have. Thanks.

1. Try disabling hardware acceleration in the Boxee "Media" settings and see if that helps.
2. Try temporarily setting both Boxee and your Realtek drivers to output in stereo over the analog (RCA/headphone-style) outputs of your sound adapter. This way we can at least eliminate some strange sync issue as the cause.
3. Do ALL video files have stuttering audio/video or only some? If it's only some, use MediaInfo Lite to determine what format their audio streams are in (DTS, AC3/DD, etc.).
4. Make sure you have the latest drivers from Realtek and Nvidia (rather than your motherboard manufacturer) installed and make sure DirectX is up to date.
5. Try going temporarily to running only a single video card rather than SLI and see if it has any effect.

I've been having this issue but using the download for the Windows Vista, Every time I try to watch a movie it crashes and becomes unresponsive. I've been searching all over these forms and can not find the How to Fix if there is one. For example if i click Movies then say Superman which is the first one. I get sound for a second then everything locks up and its not just that movie its all of them. Is there a fix for this ? Is this error on my end. I seen someone say update Firefox Flash player and i did. I completely re-installed Firefox and download the plugin. Would My Google Chrome being my Default Browser have something to do with this ?
