It pops up randomly when im in boxee. I can start see a movie and then suddenly error. When I push Ok it coming Program stopped working and end task and then I need to start boxee all over. It even comes when im just in the boxee menu. What can I do?

I have vlc codec installed and a ATI Radeon 5750 and a intel dual core cpu (brand new)

You might try uninstalling/reinstalling boxee and deleting the user data file -- if the issue persists - email 'support at boxee [d0t] tv' - explain everything (version of Boxee, PC specs etc...) and what you've done to try to correct the issue

You need to give more details!

    IE. What OS???
    Did you update DirectX
Did you update your Video card drivers?
What video are you playing? Flash, WMV, AVI, Mpeg ???

Installing codec packs does nothing for boxee. It uses it's own FFMPeg player.

Most times it's a lack of directX or a bad install of boxee. You'll get better and faster input here.

I have a thought which I'm trying to figure out if that's the case.
I have two computers running Boxee. Both with Win 7, same configuration and for some reason one is working perfectly while the other (which is stronger from hardware prospective) is giving me this issue...
The main difference is that the good one has Nvidia card in it while the erroric one has ATI... and I have noticed that others who have reported this error have ATI... maybe it's the graphic card...

Quite possibly. Try turning off hardware acceleration (in Boxee's settings somewhere, maybe under system?) on the ATI box.

Have you tried deleting the UserData folder (when Voxee isn't running) and restarting Boxee.

I'm having the same issue. Running Windows 7 SP1, built-in Intel graphic card on Gigabyte motherboard. The error occurs when the screensaver has been activated for a while.
